Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Support in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, employee spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access-control concerns, and potential hazards, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with directing visitors and supporting orderly movement through designated areas while maintaining a professional presence and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
