Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for the Los Angeles area to welcome visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will manage access control, badge processes, and monitor entry activity while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers a part-time schedule with weekend mornings, opportunities to use our Claim a Shift platform, and a path to broaden security responsibilities while supporting a safe, professional environment for tenants and tenants’

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with directing guests, managing deliveries, answering phones, and communicating with building management, tenants, and emergency responders as needed.

Pay Rate: $25.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Workdays Available: Saturday, Sunday
• Shifts Available: Morning
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:
