Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, GA. This part-time role focuses on unarmed patrols, vehicle operations, and delivering excellent customer service at aerospace/defense locations. The schedule includes day shifts with hours 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM on Thursdays and Fridays.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a patrol vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements for controlled areas.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
