Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by performing security-related procedures and site policies.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeters to identify unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and disruptions with calm, problem-solving approaches following site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing passengers and visitors.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Vehicle Inspection Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing passengers and visitors in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
