Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Digital Field Logs to support transportation operations. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, document activity on tablets, and assist passengers and staff with professionalism.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum age of 18, and a background check. Pay is $22.85 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities at Allied Universal.

As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and assist visitors with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly with team members while delivering service with integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, waiting areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
