Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Driver in Cleveland, NC. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site, while following site procedures and post orders.

This full-time driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.

Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Driver in Cleveland, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
