Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always acting with integrity and working collaboratively as part of a caring team.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the food and beverage facility and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the premises.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and management as needed.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
