As a Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle and pedestrian traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
