Job summary

Allied Universal in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect site access, provide customer service, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. This role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform and a $19.00 per hour pay rate.

You will patrol the facility, monitor access, document activity, and complete shift reports according to site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out site procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner and escalate when needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal requirements.

Location: Moncks Corner, SC

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will drive routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and warehouse access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• This site has limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
