Allied Universal in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking an experienced Security Officer Unarmed - Site Access to protect clients and manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. This is a full-time position requiring a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to the site.

Schedule includes Tue-Wed-Thu 11:00 PM–07:00 AM and Sat 07:00 AM–07:00 PM with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, parking areas, vehicle access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related observations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

What You\'ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• At this site, there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
