Job summary

Allied Universal in Winchester, KY is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence throughout the shift.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Schedule includes Daytime and nighttime shifts; background checks and a drug screen may apply; CPR certification is preferred; must be 18+

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background eligible with laws and regulations.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Report hazards, damaged equipment, access-control concerns, and other security-related observations according to site procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Security in Winchester, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
