Responsibilities

• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain entry records per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations for site contacts and responders.
• Complete required activity logs and shift communications to support a professional, customer-focused environment.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
