Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Palmdale, CA. You will serve tenants, shoppers, and staff, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and clients following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors and reporting suspicious conditions.
• Document patrols and observations per site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 01:00 PM - 08:30 PM; Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Sat 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Sun 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and assist with directing visitors, providing information, and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
