Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols in commercial real estate common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and communicating information to leadership and site contacts.
• Provide a professional, visible presence that promotes a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and businesses.

As a Security Officer Retail Command Center in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial real estate common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Provide a professional, visible presence that helps support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and businesses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
