Job summary

Advantage Security, Inc. (ASI) has provided security and customer service to its clients for over 31 years in the Denver and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking exceptional candidates for part‑time Security Officer positions in the Denver area.

Shifts are TBD, with hourly compensation of $23.50 at most sites. Benefits include free parking, advancement opportunities, license assistance, and health/dental/vision plans along with a 401(k) program for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• US citizenship or legal work status required.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check including THC.
• Fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Able to obtain a Security Guard License.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office a plus).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access of employees, visitors, and contractors to client buildings.
• Advise and escort individuals into spaces as needed.
• Maintain security records and reports during shifts.
• Protect property and prevent security threats.
• Preserve order at designated properties.

Advantage Security, Inc. (ASI) has provided both security and customer service to its clients for over 31 years in the Denver and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking exceptional candidates for part‑time Security Officer positions in the Denver area.

Shifts/Location:

TBD

• Hourly compensation: $23.50 at most sites

Duties for a Security Officer:

Security Officers with ASI are accountable for monitoring and controlling the access of employees, visitors, and contractors to various client‑owned buildings, as well as advising and escorting individuals into spaces. Officers will be required to maintain security records and reports during their shifts. Other responsibilities, of our security officers, include; the protection of property, the protection against security threats, the avoidance of hazardous situations, and preserving order at designated properties.

Basic Requirements for a Security Officer:

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• US citizenship or possess the right to work permit
• Able to pass a drug screen test and background check to include THC
• Fluently speak, read, and write English
• Able to obtain a Security Guard License
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office experience a plus)

Desired Skills for a Security Officer:

• Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience a plus but not required
• Ability to remain calm and focused
