As a Security Officer Unarmed Property Patrol in Cortland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
