Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and retail staff while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and retail staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
