As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Zone Coverage in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and digital services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor security-related systems, including cameras and access-control equipment, and promptly report equipment concerns or observed issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
