Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Route Verification in Newnan, GA to safeguard clients across technology, media, and telecom sites. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

As an unarmed officer, perform regular patrols, verify credentials, report access-control concerns, and document observations. Minimum age 18, HS diploma, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Tue: 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Wed: 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Thur: 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Fri: 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
