As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Awareness in Inglewood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, documenting observations and irregular conditions.


• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures and directing authorized personnel appropriately.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
