Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Screening to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site.

The role offers opportunities to earn more via our scheduling platform, with anchor shifts and the ability to pick up additional shifts across sites. Responsibilities include customer service, patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver check‑in procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Screening in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver check‑in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
