Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Arlington, VA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service in a corporate technology workplace.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology workplace by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
