Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Clyde, OH to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will patrol, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while delivering exemplary customer service in a professional environment.

The role emphasizes visible presence, adherence to site policies, and clear communication with employees and visitors. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.51/hour and a schedule including afternoon/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive workplace environment.

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
