Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol PT in Alpharetta, GA. This part-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering customer service aligned with our values of agility, reliability, and innovation.

You will work in a dynamic tech/telecom location, complete routine rounds, document observations, and stay highly visible to deter security-related incidents. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and emergency response guidelines as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, offices, common areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and unusual conditions to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, calling for assistance, and coordinating with on-site personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, and follow-up actions in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
