Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Protection in Mesa, AZ to protect clients across aerospace/defense facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous, professional service.

This full-time driving role requires at least 2 years in security, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry.
• Document patrols and incidents in clear reports and inform site leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
