Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and actions in reports.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity and assist tenants and visitors as needed.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Thu: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations, actions taken, and notifications in required reports.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports tenant operations and helps to deter unauthorized activity while providing directions and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
