Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Performance Venue in Seattle, WA. You will monitor and protect guests, staff and performers across cultural venues, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with calm professionalism.

Daily duties include site patrols, monitoring entrances and restricted areas, assisting with access control, and reporting incidents. Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and passing

• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patrons, performers, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public spaces, performance areas, backstage corridors, administrative offices, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; assist with visitor access, credential verification, and crowd-flow support during events and performances.
• Respond to incidents, patron concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, property damage, and disruptive behavior by maintaining a professional presence and observing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
