As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, management, and first responders as needed during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
