Job summary

Allied Universal in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial site. You’ll deliver customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and report observations clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $18.00 per hour with a set schedule (Mon 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; Tue 10:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role offers shift flexibility, training, retirement savings, and exclusive perks through our benefits program.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and visitor entry procedures, reporting access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and actions.
• Complete detailed activity logs and shift communications in a professional manner.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
