Allied Universal, Nashville, TN, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to monitor and safeguard clients across industries. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform and focuses on customer service, visibility, and incident response.

You will perform patrols of interior and exterior areas, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document observations per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by all applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid drivers license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter security-related activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate shift logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
