• Allied Universal may require licensing as per state/local laws and may require a driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while following site procedures.
• Monitor access points, screen and direct visitors according to entry procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel or responders as needed.
• Document observations and communicate information to site leadership and supervision.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, screen and direct visitors in accordance with established entry procedures, and maintain professional interactions in a public-facing government office environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
