This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assisting visitors, and communicating clearly with staff and the public. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate public-service areas in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government office location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and location reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
