Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in New York, NY. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service within a financial institution setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A state/county/city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, suspicious activity, and security-related observations.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
