Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Credential Services in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies within a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation protocols.
• Communicate observations, concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
