As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Equipment Handling in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to supervisors and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
