Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Montgomery, AL. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, perform routine patrols, and monitor access points while maintaining a visible security presence.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate setting, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
