Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Mount Morris, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of office, campus, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.


• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
