Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk / Roverin Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and alarm response while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic and research buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unauthorized access concerns, and assist with directions and general site information.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
