Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of chemical and logistics operations, including buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, and report potential hazards or access-control concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
