Allied Universal in San Bruno, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Detail to join our full-time team. You will provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and site personnel while conducting routine patrols and monitoring access points.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. You must be at least 18 years old for unarmed work.

• Monitor access points and observe activity to maintain orderly entry/exit at the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain documentation for patrol activities and observations.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Detail in San Bruno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and help maintain orderly entry and exit at the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
