Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Salinas, CA. This part-time role offers a pay rate of $19.70 per hour and a schedule that includes DayTime Mon and Thur shifts.

You will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents as part of a dynamic security team. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to complete background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and automotive dealership personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of dealership buildings, vehicle display areas, service bays, parking lots, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access to the location, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, or property concerns according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
