As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious behavior, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.


• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
