Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL. This part-time role involves patrolling sites, driving on duty, and maintaining a strong customer presence to deter incidents.

You will support a welcoming environment through professional service, timely reporting, and collaboration with the client and team. Ensure safety and compliance while serving diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.
