Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Cincinnati, OH. You will provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. Schedule: Mon and Fri 4:00 PM–12:00 AM; pay: $18.47/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with site management and leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with site management, store associates, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
