Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Driver) for Johnstown, OH. You will perform unarmed routine patrols at a retail location, provide customer service, and deter incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, age 18+, and a background check. Schedule includes Mon/Tue/Fri shifts with early morning hours; pay is $18.50 per hour with part-time status.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate store management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
