Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including building areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage through visible patrols, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
