Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Operations in Olathe, KS. You will help manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and deter incidents while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $18.75 per hour. You will work a set afternoon shift, perform patrols, and respond to incidents following emergency procedures.

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery appointments, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns or discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
