Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Coordination in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol hotel grounds, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional guest and team member service in a dynamic hospitality setting.

As a full-time role, the position requires a minimum of 1 year security experience, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a background check and drug screen where permitted by law. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

• Loss prevention experience preferred.

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors and staff by following security procedures and hotel policies.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Perform regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of hotel grounds and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance needs.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports with a professional hospitality focus.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Coordination in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hotel policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a hospitality-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
