Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Support in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond professionally to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires at least 2 years in security, a high school diploma, and passing a background check and drug screen.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Support in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and operational updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
