Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism and other security-related concerns through a visible presence and timely reporting.
